| Please remember, "self-priming" centrifugal de-watering and trash pumps still require water in the pump casing to start the priming process. To avoid pump damage, NEVER start centrifugal pumps without water in the pump casing and NEVER remove strainer from suction hose or intake. |
| ALWAYS clean pump and hoses by flushing for several minutes with clean water prior to storing or returning unit. |

TRASH "CONSTRUCTION" WATER PUMPS |

Trash or
construction pumps are essentially a heavy duty centrifugal
de-watering pump. They are designed to transfer clean,
muddy, mucky, or sandy water with solids such as sticks and
stones up to 1-1/16 inch and less than 25% by weight of debris
to water. Trash pumps have quick clean out ports to easily
service the impeller area. Trash pumps should never be run dry. |

DIAPHRAGM "MUD" WATER PUMPS |
| Diaphragm pumps are low volume positive displacement pumps. Unlike centrifugal style pumps, diaphragm pumps can run dry and pump water with solids greater than 25% by volume. These pumps are ideal for slow seepage conditions, sandy, muddy, and mucky water. Typical applications are cleaning septic tanks and pumping industrial waste or marine tanks. |

| Our pneumatic double diaphragm pumps are medium to high volume self-priming construction work horses. Powered by air, these pumps are ideal in combustible areas where gasoline engines are prohibited. Like engine driven diaphragm pumps, pneumatic diaphragm pumps can run dry and pump water with solids greater than 25% by volume. The internal diaphragms are changeable to optimize pump performance based on fluid composition. |

SUBMERSIBLE WATER PUMPS |

Submersible pumps
are similar to centrifugal de-watering pumps except that they
are electric and generally lower volume. Submersible pumps
are designed to transfer clear relatively clean water with
solids no larger than 1/4 inch and less than 10% by weight of
debris to water. Submersible pumps do not require suction hoses, have high discharge heads, instant priming, and can run for short periods without water. Submersible pumps are great for both low and high volume seepage applications when a float switch is added. |
